Welcome to Coaching Revolutions

My name is Martyn Frank and I have been in awe of the world of cycling ever since I watched the 1988 Tour de France. I took up racing the following season. I have in subsequent years gained experience in many fields of cycling, having competed in road races, time trials, cyclo cross, track and mountain bike races. I have been a keen club racer for many years always with an interest in the scientific side of training. I was selected for the West Midlands Centre of Excellence as a junior and rode the Junior Tour of Ireland along with riders such as Roger Hammond, former World Tour rider and 3rd in Paris Roubaix. I have also ridden numerous National Championships on the track and cyclo cross.
All of which has given me an insight into what technical skills are required to be competitive in these disciplines. I have what I believe to be the best cycle specific qualification in the world, British Cycling's Level 3 Qualification enabling me to coach in 1-1 and group scenarios in Road and Time Trials, Track and I am currently being put through my paces to coach both downhill and cross country Mountain Bikers. I have taught groups ranging from school children to experienced club riders, skills ranging from how to mount a bike correctly to riding correctly in a team time trial formation.
I have a holistic approach to caring for riders with experience of being a soigneur with British teams such as Rapha Condor, Rapha Condor Sharp and Team Sky, looking after riders racing both single day and stage races.Since the winter of 2009 I worked at 6 Day Track races across Europe looking after riders from the German, American, Swiss, New Zealand and Danish national squads. These riders included Olymipic medalists and past and present World Champions
